Reviews of St James Hotel

Robert
My breakfast was warm for 7.99. Overall it was great value for money with a fan in the wardrobe. The hotel had a central setting to have a shop layout of the shopping centre.
-
Rachel
The breakfast was hot and great and complete with black pudding and the toast, for example. The staff was really good and pleasant, everything was amazing. The location was great and unbeatable for walking around an Anglican church. There was a small restaurant approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel.

I have had a such great experience, this fabulous, fairly clean hotel deserves more than 3 stars. I asked for twin/double room and it was big size with a view.

My room was great value thanks to the very efficient staff. I stayed in the room that was stained carpets which could easily be cleaned and available with wifi. The restaurant was very nice, good food. Appreciated this very good stay during a weekend in December.

Tbh, had an excellent stay during a weekend in December. Very central location near the town centre that includes people leaving pubs in the early hours of the morning as well as taxi, bus stops and train station, it was in a downtown area. Popped in Ember Pub & Dining for shots before sleep, it was at a moderate distance from the venue. The room was neat and functional and stained carpets which could easily be cleaned. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the breakfast was nice hot and great.

We stay in double room quite often, it is tastefully decorated and functional.
Cold breakfast, it should definitely be improved.

The low budget hotel was recently refurbished! The breakfast was good hot and the parking was on-site. I've had budget and functional room with the bathroom. The venue was in the central setting to train station & shopping area.

Quick check in and late check out. Airy and neat room, with coffee, a kettle, and a carpet. Great breakfast, lots of options available. Very polite staff and attention to detail. Great and unbeatable location in Grimsby, not far from the night club, a grotty shopping centre where staff stood outside smoking, and AREAS.

Enjoyed big twin/double room with nice view across to grimsby minster, wouldn't mind staying there all day. The breakfast was hot and good and for 7.99, the staff was polite. Marvellous location - walking distance to everywhere we needed.
